What is the difference between double pleated blinds and single pleated blinds?

The single pleated curtain has holes in the fabric where the lifting cords are passed through. The holes and cords are visible. On double pleated curtains, the lifting cords are passed inside (in the middle) of the cells. This means no visible holes or cords, you may only see the outlines of the cords inside the fabric. There are at least two lifting cords on a curtain. The number of lifting cords depends on the width and height of the curtain, as well as the choice of fabric.
